A Variant on a well-trodden pattern that caught a few eyes prior to purchase.
This bag had an alluring metallic color palette, with accents from the past and a timeless feel.
An experiment in contrasting colors and materials, this bag was crafted from curtain and upholstery material in a herringbone pattern I have grown familiar with. The interior runner had hand-bleached maroon fabric and brass buttons gifted to me from my time in the Interior Design Business. The overall palette carries with it a story of copper and patina, with deep orange-brown contrasting blue-green on the sides, keeping metallic tones on the sides and in the grommets. There are three types of side pocket, and the standard five handles. This is my first piece that got purchased, and with it, I added a 1/1 custom March Hare Design stitched label, and I wish it luck on its journey into the world.
