A precedent set for the bags going forward, three carrying variations, with innermost handles.

The size of the bags became standardized, the tote and shoulder aspects were solved, this bag became a test for single-piece Interior Construction.

With the influx of Interior Design Fabric Sample Books came a corresponding rise in a waste product I hadn’t anticipated, rope handles. To rectify this situation, I employed Occam’s Razor, fashioning two small fabric tubes and threading them with the sample book ropes, thus crafting the perfect reinforced handles for the center of the bag. This pushed the strap count from one at the beginning of this experiment to five total and would go on to be the default for the succeeding bag variants. This particular bag, the Diagonal Stack Bond was fairly straight forward, with the calculations coming from where the breaks would be in the count to begin longer strips for each side of the interior. The exterior side pockets are deep, with the larger side pocket is a thinner material with an extra pocket fold.
