Time permitting, I try to use the sewing machine to make more garments, and I have amassed a great deal of fabric from various outlets like Creative Reuse Stores, Interior Design/Architectural Professionals, Closing Businesses, Friends, Family, and Thrift Spaces to accomplish just that task. I intend on making more sustainable bags as well, and am willing to do so on commission, with a unique bag being made specifically to your tailored size and stylistic preference with input on the fabric colors and ornate patterning. This works in a double-pronged way of fulfilling the request made by the commissioner and honing my sewist capabilities and the ability to meet and exceed a design prompt in a different medium than the usual paper or digital mock-up.
